TRAINER- Sue Smith has been training racehorse at Craiglands farm since 1990 . Horses have always been her lifelong passion, which she shares with her husband Harvey Smith. She has had numerous successes with NH horses training multiple Cheltenham festival winners and a grand national winner - Auroras Encore (Pictured).

TRAINER - Joel Parkinson has worked as assistant trainer to Sue Smith until 2025, when he joined her on the license. He is a distinguished British equestrian known not only for his accomplishments in racing but also as an international showjumper. He has renowned success showjumping internationally a career path in which he followed in his grandfathers footsteps.

HEAD LAD - Reece Jarosiewicz has been working with us since he was 17. Not only does he have years of experience working with racehorses ; he is also a hardworking dedicated member of the team and shows brilliant leadership qualities on the yard helping wherever he can. 

TRAVELLING HEAD LAD - Jamie Atkins has worked with us since 2009. He has always been a dedicated member of the team but his attention to detail and great organization skills made him love going racing. Subsequently he has progressed to be an integral member of the racing team by beccoming head travelling lad.

RACING SECRETARY - Rachel has been with us for 13 years. Her organisation and management skills aren’t the only thing that makes her a great secretary. She is very involved with the staff and always available to help with any issues they might have and goes above and beyond to help every member of the JPSS racing team.
